How ExamPak checks its facts

A wrong fact can cost a mark on test day. This page shows how we avoid that, and what we fixed when we got something wrong.

Our rules

  1. Every fact has an official source. The source is an FPSC advertisement or syllabus, an Act, a set of Rules or a government notice. We link to it and name the page or section where we can.
  2. The “Last checked” date is when a person compared the page with the source. It is not the date the source was published.
  3. Estimates say they are estimates. Topic priority, study hours and mark ranges are our own judgement, and each one is labelled that way.
  4. If we cannot confirm something, we say so. For example, the pass mark for BS-16 and BS-17 posts is not yet confirmed from an official copy.
  5. One test date range per advertisement. FPSC publishes one range for the whole ad, so we never show a countdown for a single post.
  6. No invented numbers, reviews or pass rates.
  7. We are independent. ExamPak is not affiliated with FPSC or any government body. For ads, dates and results, the official site is fpsc.gov.pk.

What we check, and how

  • Job details and syllabi are read from the advertisement and the Schemes and Syllabi PDF, and compared again by a person before a page is published.
  • Laws and rules are read from the current official text, including amendments, and the “amended up to” date is noted.
  • Where a topic outline is only a sample, the page says “Sample outline, to be checked against the official text”.
  • When a rule is repealed or changed, we remove or fix the affected material and record it below.

Corrections log

Every correction is listed here with its date. Nothing is changed quietly.
