Where FPSC publishes results
On fpsc.gov.pk, open Results and stay on the GR (General Recruitment) tab. These are the sections that matter after a test:
- Merit List
- The test result of each case, one PDF per case.
- Short Listing
- The candidates FPSC calls forward for the document check and interview.
- Nominations
- The final result: the candidates FPSC has recommended for appointment.
Interview dates are not under Results. They are on the Schedule page, under Interviews.

Check your merit list on your phone
- Find your case number. It is on your online application and in the FPSC ad, written like F.4-124/2026-R. You only need the middle number, here 124.
- Open FPSC’s Merit List page and tap the PDF whose name has your case number, for example F4-124-2026.
- Open the browser menu, choose Find in page, and type your roll number.
- Read the Remarks column next to your name: P or F.
- Scroll to the end of the list. FPSC prints how many candidates applied, appeared and qualified.
TipOpen your post’s page on ExamPak instead. It links the PDF for your case and shows how many passed.
How to read the list
PQualified the testFDid not qualify
The list includes everyone who sat the test for that case, in order of merit. FPSC does not print marks or rank: its instructions say marks are not shown.
The Remarks column shows P or F. FPSC does not explain the letters on the list itself, but in every 2026 list we checked, the number of P marks equals the “Qualified in Written Portion” total printed at the end. So P means qualified and F means not qualified.
For BS-16 and BS-17 posts the pass mark is 40%, as set out in FPSC’s General Instructions to the Candidates (updated 17 Sep 2025). Each wrong answer costs 0.25 marks.
If your name or domicile is printed wrongly, FPSC asks you to tell it within 15 days of the list being published.
What happens after the merit list
- ShortlistingFPSC shortlists only candidates who qualified, the top ones in each provincial or regional quota. For BS-16 and BS-17 posts that is 5 per post where there are up to 2 posts, otherwise 3 per post; for BS-18 and above, 5 per post.
- Document checkShortlisted candidates bring their original documents one day before the interview.
- InterviewFPSC calls the top candidates whose documents are in order, on the dates in its interview programme and call letter. An interview call does not guarantee selection.
- Final resultFPSC recommends the selected candidates to the government (Results, Nominations). The department then appoints them after its own checks, such as medical fitness.

If nobody passed in your case
It happens. In 6 of the first 16 cases of Ad 3/2026 the list says nobody qualified. FPSC has not said what happens next for those cases. If it publishes anything, it will appear on that post’s page here.
If your roll number is not on the list
The list covers everyone who sat the test for that case, so first check that you opened the right case number. FPSC does not re-check papers: its instructions say requests for re-evaluation or re-checking of marks will not be entertained.
