Photo resizer for FPSC (under 30 KB)

FPSC asks for a passport size picture in JPEG, less than 30 KB. Choose your photo and get a file that fits. Your photo stays on your device.

JPG, PNG or WebP. The photo is not uploaded anywhere.

How it works

  1. Choose your size limit. The first choice is FPSC’s: less than 30 KB.
  2. Choose your photo. The tool shrinks it step by step until it fits, keeping the quality as high as the limit allows.
  3. Download the JPEG and upload it in your application.

Tips for the photo

  • Use a recent, passport style photo with your face clear and centred. FPSC says to avoid informal pictures.
  • Use an even background and good light. Do not crop your head or shoulders too tightly.
  • If the result looks too soft, start from a larger, sharper photo.

Quick questions

What photo does FPSC ask for in the online application?

A recent passport size picture in JPEG (jpg) format, less than 30 KB. FPSC says to avoid informal pictures. This is from FPSC’s Guidelines for Online Application Submission (updated 9 September 2025).

Does FPSC ask for a signature upload?

The FPSC online application guideline mentions only the picture upload. Read the form itself: if a later step asks for more, follow it.

What size in pixels should the FPSC photo be?

FPSC does not print a pixel size in its guideline. Keep the face clear and the photo passport style. This tool shrinks the file below the size limit while keeping the picture as clear as it can.

Is my photo uploaded to your server?

No. The photo is resized inside your browser. It is not sent to us or stored.

Why does my iPhone photo not open?

Some iPhone photos are saved as HEIC, which browsers cannot read. Take the photo in “Most Compatible” mode, or open it in your Photos app and export it as JPEG, then try again.
