Age calculator
Find your exact age in years, months and days on any date. Useful for job and admission forms that ask for your age on a closing date.
Age for job and admission forms
Job ads count your age on a fixed date, usually the closing date, not on the day you read the ad. Set “Age on” to that date.
If you are applying to FPSC, the age limit is only part of it. The FPSC age limit calculator also checks your degree, gender and region against each post.

Quick questions
How is age calculated in years, months and days?
The calculator counts whole years from your date of birth to the date you choose, then the whole months left over, then the days left over. Your age goes up by one year on your birthday.
How do I find my age on a particular date?
Enter your date of birth, then change “Age on” to that date. This is what forms mean when they ask for your age “as on” a closing date or admission date.
How are 29 February birthdays handled?
The calculator counts the birthday on 28 February in years that are not leap years.
Does FPSC count age on the closing date?
Yes. FPSC’s General Instructions say the cut-off date for age is the closing date of the ad. Use the FPSC age limit calculator to see which posts you are within the limit for.
Is my date of birth saved?
No. The calculation runs in your browser. Your date of birth is not sent to us or stored.
